Cucu ("Cucu," "we," or "us") is a personal social profile and sharing app for iOS. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and when it is processed by service providers.
The short version: we process information to operate your account, share your public content and profile card, keep a private account's content to the people it approves, deliver private messages and notifications, translate content when you ask, support optional media collections and widgets, protect the service, diagnose problems, and maintain recovery backups. No ads, no advertising trackers, and no selling your personal data.
Cucu is developed and operated by an independent developer.
For questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
Some features described below may depend on your app version and whether the feature is available to your account.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on your provider settings, your email address or name.
With Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email address. We do not receive your password. Authentication is handled by Apple, Google, and our authentication provider, Supabase.
We process content and activity you choose to create in Cucu, including:
Public profiles, posts, replies, and other content you publish may be visible to other Cucu users, unless your account is private. Public profile cards can also be viewed outside Cucu, as explained under Public visibility.
If you report something, you can see the status of your report in the app and, once it is resolved, whether action was taken. A moderator may add a short explanation when a report is dismissed.
